Uroš Đurđević (Serbian Cyrillic: Урош Ђурђевић; born 2 March 1994) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays for Italian club Palermo as a striker.
Club career
On 28 August 2011, Đurđević made his senior debut with Rad in a 1–2 loss against Sloboda Užice. After scoring nine league goals in 23 appearances during the 2012–13 season, Đurđević attracted interest from Partizan and Anderlecht.[2] In the 2014 winter transfer window, Đurđević moved to Dutch club Vitesse. On 14 August 2015, it was announced that his contract had been dissolved by Vitesse after Đurđević had lost any prospect of playing time.[3]
Four days later, he signed for Serie A club Palermo.[4]
International career
Đurđević represented Serbia at the 2012 UEFA Under-19 Championship. On 6 June 2013, Đurđević scored two goals against Slovakia in the elite qualifying round for the 2013 UEFA Under-19 Championship.[5] Additionally, Đurđević scored the opening goal in the semi-final of the 2013 UEFA Under-19 Championship against Portugal, which Serbia would win after penalty shoot-out.[6]
