Urmas Kruuse (born 14 July 1965 in Elva) is an Estonian politician and the Minister of Rural Affairs in Taavi Rõivas' second cabinet.[1] Between 26 March 2014 and 30 March 2015 he was a minister of Health and Labour in Estonian Government[2] From 26 April 2007 until 26 March 2014, he was the Mayor of Tartu, Estonia's second largest city. From 2002 to 2007 he served as the Mayor of Elva.[3]
Kruuse is member of the Estonian Reform Party.
