The University of Nebraska College of Law (UNLCL), colloquially known as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law, is one of the professional graduate schools of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It was founded in 1888 and became part of UNL in 1891. According to Nebraska's official 2013 ABA-required disclosures, 64.5% of the Class of 2013 obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment nine months after graduation.[2]

History

Initially founded as The University of Nebraska School of Law in 1891. In 2014, the law school changed its moniker to The University of Nebraska College of Law. Nebraska Law is a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools and is accredited by the American Bar Association.

Employment

According to Nebraska's official 2013 ABA-required disclosures, 64.5% of the Class of 2013 obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment nine months after graduation.[3] Nebraska's Law School Transparency under-employment score is 16.9%, indicating the percentage of the Class of 2013 unemployed, pursuing an additional degree, or working in a non-professional, short-term, or part-time job nine months after graduation.[4]
