Union, Bohol
Union is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.
The barangay's total land area is 514 hectares (1,270 acres).[3] According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 2,332.[1] In the 2013 election, it had 1,643 registered voters, meaning that 70% of the population are aged 18 and over.[2]
Union celebrates its annual fiesta on 15 January in honor of its patron saint.
Location
Located in the east of the municipality, Union is bounded to the north by Tapal and the Basiao Channel, to the east by Tipolo and San Isidro, and to the south and west by Sinandigan. Union is 7 km (4.3 mi) from the town centre, Poblacion, and is on the provincial road that leads to the municipality of Mabini.
Economy
People in the barangay are mostly farmers who live by planting rice, camote, cassava, banana, and other vegetables. Some till agricultural smallholdings. Some of the population also weave mats, and produce palm oil and coconut products.

There are seven puroks overseen by the elected kagawads.
