Ulmus 'Fremont' is a little-known American hybrid cultivar of unrecorded provenance, arising from the crossing of Ulmus pumila (female parent) × Ulmus rubra. 'Fremont' featured in trials begun in 1954 assessing trees for the USDA North Central 7 region. [1]

One specimen was known to survive at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum in 1987. It is not known whether 'Fremont' was ever introduced to Europe or Australasia.
