Ulmus 'Cebennensis'

Cultivar 'Cebennensis'
Origin Audibert, Tonelle, France

The wych elm Ulmus glabra cultivar 'Cebennensis', the Cevennes Elm, was raised by Audibert at Tonelle, France before 1830. Loudon described it thus: "Its habit is spreading like that of (the species), but it appears of much less vigorous growth".[1] The tree is probably no longer in cultivation.
