History

Dinamo-2000

For this period the team has changed several names as being in unstable conditions. The notable fact is that the team has started its way ahead in tournament only in 2001 and from the Armenian Football Premier League. Team-play in that year was sluggish but anyway the place for next season was earned. The next two seasons were exactly the same as the first one.

Dinamo-Zenith

In 2004 the team took 5th place in tournament table and that result in Armenian Premier League was the best for that years. Before that, the team has joined with "Zenith" (Charentsavan) football club and was renamed "Dinamo-Zenith FC"

In 2006, the club changed their name with the arrival of new sponsor. they occupied the 8th place at the 2006 Armenian Premier League season grabbing the chance to save their place in the top league in a decisive match with FC Dinamo Yerevan. Winning the game, Ulisses FC secured their place in the top tier for the next season. In seasons 2007 and 2008 team play was much more better, and there was no need of survival games.

In the beginning of 2008 club's department was enlarged with football school of "Shengavit" and also club has rented (in long-term conditions) the training and field (also mini-arena) in Voskehat. Voskehat field is the team's training pitch, and the battlefields for Ulisses are other arenas/stadiums. In 2007 team was playing home in "Kasakh" arena in Ashtarak, and in 2009 – the temporary home field was MIKA Arena in Yerevan.

Ulisses football club is also owner of League 1 team "Shengavit" which in 2008 has earned small gold medal in lower league but as in regulation couldn't be promoted to Premier League.

Before the start of season 2009, the team board has made a serious decisions for the result after which the team squad was strengthened with transferring-in new strong players. The first match with "Kilikia" was won but eventually defeated in second round by "Pyunik". In the next matches the team earned more experience and in the round 5 match with MIKA, club was quiet ready with three wins in past rounds. Match with MIKA was ended with 0:0 in the scoreboard but in next match being home with "Banants" the game was lost 0:1. After 2 wins to low-position clubs the match with "Pyunik" was next. In the first match team has lost in all meanings, this game was more stronger, but in the end Pyunik has made a goal. Winning "Gandzasar" team has played draw with "Shirak" after which – defeating MIKA with 1:2. In next 7 rounds team haven't had any lost game. Ending the season, team has earned 3rd position in league table being not far away of "Pyunik" (1) and "MIKA" (2) with "Banansts" (4) being behind.

On March 22, 2010 the new club president (Artak Harutyunyan) was promoted – who has told about the new season objectives. He also told about the opening of the new club office and about playing home in "Hrazdan" stadium. Also was told about the reconstruction of football school of "Shengavit" which will begin in 2010.

In 2011 Ulisses won the Armenian championship[2] for the first time in club history, and ended Pyunik dominance of 10 consecutive championships.

On 3th of February 2016 the club declared that it will not participate in the second half of the Armenian Premier League 2015/2016.
