Uitwierde (Dutch pronunciation: [œytˈʋirdə]) is a town in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Delfzijl, and lies about 26 km northeast of Groningen.
The statistical area "Uitwierde", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 60.[1]
