UTC−04:30 is a time offset that subtracts 4 1/2 hours from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). It is used only in Venezuela,[1] where it has been in effect since December 9, 2007.[2][3] Previously, Venezuela's time zone was UTC−04:00.
