U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), is a venture capital investment firm headquartered on Sand Hill Road in Silicon Valley focusing on investments in an array of segments including enterprise software, IT security, consumer internet, mobile, e-commerce, healthcare, and IT-enabled healthcare services.
Since its inception USVP has invested more than $2.7 billion[1] in over 450 companies[1] across a broad range of industries, of which 84 have completed an initial public offering.
History
Founded by Bill Bowes, Stuart Moldaw and Robert Sackman in 1981,[1] U.S. Venture Partners was an early entrant to the burgeoning venture capital industry in Silicon Valley in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Since its founding, USVP has raised over $2.7 billion across ten institutional funds. The firm is currently investing out of its tenth fund, USVP X.
The investment team is composed of Casey Tansey, Steve Krausz, Jonathan Root, Rick Lewis, Jacques Benkoski, John Hadl, Dafina Toncheva and Alfonso Castillo.
