Fiction
USS Van Buren is also a fictional aircraft carrier in both the comic strip Doonesbury[1] and the NCIS: Los Angeles episodes "Free Ride" and "Deep Trouble (Part II)." The latter depicted her as a Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier based on her hull number of CVN-82 and Sam stating she has only two nuclear reactors.
