The UNTV Broadcast Center is a mixed-use skyscraper under construction located along 43 East Lawin Street corner Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, Philam Homes in Quezon City. The building will be the new headquarters of UNTV 37, a public service UHF TV channel.[1]

It will be located in a lot where the Kamanggagawa Foundation's Transient Home was build.

Construction

Groundbreaking of the building took place in June 26, 2014 which was covered by UNTV morning shows Good Morning Kuya! and Get It Straight. The groundbreaking ceremony is part of UNTV's 10th anniversary celebrations and was headed by UNTV-Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, Inc. Chairman and CEO Daniel Razon and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.[1][3][4]

Features

The UNTV Broadcast Center will be a mixed-used skyscraper. A whole floor located on the lower portion of the building will be designated for public service purposes. The building will host a 400 sqm broadcast studio (for the news and entertainment programs), a 300 seating capacity auditorium (to be used for ASOP Music Festival), and a full-sized basketball court (to be used for UNTV Cup).

The rooftop of the building is designated for a jogging and bike lane which is planned to be fenced with glass panels. The three disks structures will also be constructed on top of the building. The lower disk will host a restaurant which can host more than 400 people, the middle disk will host a floating radio station booths for Radyo La Verdad 1350 and Wish 1075 and the top disk will 360-degree observatory deck.[4] The building's facade will also be covered with LED lights which will be used as advertising space for both UNTV and other third party business entities.[1][2]
