Twyford is a hamlet and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated on the A1067 road, some 12 km (7.5 mi) south-east of the town of Fakenham and 28 km (17 mi) north-west of the city of Norwich.[1]
The civil parish has an area of 2.13 km2 (0.82 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 26 in 14 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Breckland.[2]
The name Twyford derives from the Anglo Saxon and means 'double ford'. There are several other places called Twyford.
