Twice as Nice

Twice As Nice Productions LLC is an entertainment/production company founded by producers/songwriters Nick Audino & Lewis Hughes. Beginning in 2011 as a production duo, Twice as Nice quickly evolved into a full service production company covering artist management, development, A&R consultancy & creative direction. In early 2015 "Twice As Nice" expanded by adding Sydney based producer "Khaled Rohaim" to the team along with signing New Zealand based producer "Te Whiti Warbrick" aka "SickDrumz" as a staff producer to form "Twice As Nice Productions" (aka Twice as Nice). Nick Audino is also DJ Mustard's Creative Director & A&R on DJ Snake's up & coming debut album on Interscope Records.

Production and creative direction

Twice As Nice began as an Australian record producing/remixing and song-writing duo (Nick Audino & Lewis Hughes). Hailing from Melbourne, Australia; the team are currently located in Los Angeles. In June 2011, Twice as Nice signed a publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing U.S.A - The first ever Australian born production/songwriting duo to sign directly to EMI U.S.A. In late 2014 Twice as Nice became a full service entertainment company that currently manage multiple acts, facilitate creative direction & handle A&R.

In late 2014, Nick Audino became involved with DJ Mustard & his 10 Summer Records label Universal Music Group as a consultant/collaborator/creative director. September 2015 saw Nick become DJ Mustard's official Creative Director. Selected credits include: Kid Ink ft.Dej Loaf - Be Real, Ty$ ft.E-40 - Saved, Kid Ink ft.Fetty Wap - Promise & most recently contributed to DJ Mustard ft.Travis Scott - Whole Lotta Lovin and also co-produced Rihanna's "Needed Me" off of her highly anticipated Anti album.

In 2014 "Twice as Nice" co-wrote/co-produced Tiesto's most successful single to date "Wasted" featuring Matthew Koma. Wasted was premiered during his set at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2014. "Wasted" is Tiesto's second official single from his debut album on Universal Republic released June 2014. "Wasted" made its debut at #3 on the UK top 40 Charts and reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #5 On the Billboard Dance charts. The song also achieved Platinum status in the USA and Silver in the UK (200,000 copies). "Wasted' also achieved top 20 success in countries such as Sweden, Scotland, Netherlands, Ireland, Norway & more.

Outside of collaborations with DJ Mustard, Twice as Nice have produced/written & remixed tracks for Lil Wayne, Robin Thicke, Sir Sly, Flosstradamus & More. Producer "Lewis Hughes" is known for being the producer/collaborator for LA based indie/electronic artist Ghost Loft. Lewis also co-produced Australian band "Birds Of Tokyo" EP "Anchor" released April 2015 - Lead single & title track Anchor achieved Platinum status in Australia. Twice as Nice began developing artists in 2015. Their first artist MICHL released his first song titled "Kill Our Way To Heaven" in November and within its first month of release achieved over 1.5 million plays/streams.

Remixes

In 2013 Twice as Nice began remixing various acts. Their first official remix release was with Brooklyn-based act Little Daylight for their song "Overdose" which peaked at #7 on Hype Machine. They followed that with remixes for Ghost Loft, Generationals & UK Band Coasts Then "Gold" for LA band Sir Sly which peaked at #2 on Hypemachine and more recently "Afraid" by The Neighbourhood which also reached #2 on The Hype Machine popular Charts. Other official remixes include Lana Del Rey - Young And Beautiful, The Rubens - My Gun, Robin Thicke - "4 The Rest Of My Life" (which was the bonus track on the Target Deluxe Edition), Hedley - "Wild Life", Cub Sport & Chain Gang Of 1974 - "Godless Girl", Flosstradamus, and Ryn Weaver.

International

In 2014, Twice as Nice produced/co-produced 8 tracks on Italy's most successful rap artist Fedez's sophomore album Pop-Hoolista. (4 Platinum album + multiple Gold & Platinum singles) including the 3rd highest selling single in Italy for the year "Magnifico".

Twice As Nice achieved notable success early in neighboring country New Zealand. - The first single that they produced "Ordinary Life" by artists Smashproof achieved gold status in New Zealand (7,500+) and peaked at #6 on the RAINZ singles charts.^[1] Consequently, Spashproof's debut album The Weekend peaked at #3 on the RAINZ album charts and achieved Platinum sales (15,000+).^[2]

January 2013 sSaw the first K-Pop release for Twice as Nice. They produced the single & title track "Break Down" for Super Junior-M's second album, Break Down which made its debut at #1 on the Billboard World Album charts in late January.

Other notable NZ releases include "This Is Love" by Dawn Raid artist Monsta featuring J-Boog which was certified Gold Status in New Zealand and reached #22 RAINZ singles charts.^[3] Similarly, Twice as Nice had success with the song "Music (Makes the World Go Round)" by fellow Dawn Raid artist Frisko featuring Aaradhna which reached #15 on the RAINZ singles charts.^[4] Subsequently, Twice as Nice went on to produce 9 of the 17 tracks on Young Sid's sophomore album What Doesn't Kill Me which peaked at #11 on the RAINZ album charts^[5] & all 11 tracks from the album Evolution from the Deceptikonz (#26 RAINZ album charts).^[6] Twice As Nice also Produced 8 of 11 tracks the Album "Miracles & Mayhem" for Savage One of NZ's most successful artists. Recent New Zealand releases include "Paint Fade" from Smashproof which debuted @ #6 on the RAINZ Charts and Aaradhna's "You Don't Love Me Anymore".

Film score

In 2011, Twice as Nice began composing their first film score for the documentary Fighting Fear (follow up to the highest grossing documentary in Australian history Bra Boys).^[7] Released in cinemas 11 November 2011 - "Fighting Fear is an inspirational, action-packed docu-drama telling the extraordinary, yet true story of two best friends and their real-life struggles as they chase their dreams of becoming professional sportsmen."^[8]
