Turku City Library
Turku City Library (Finnish: Turun kaupunginkirjasto, Swedish: Åbo stadsbibliotek) is a municipal library service in Turku, Finland which includes several branch libraries and Turku Main Library which is located in the city centre of Turku and is a combination of new building (built in 2007) and the old main library building (built in 1903). The old building was under renovation and reopened in autumn 2008. In 2011, the amount of annual visitors at Turku City Library was about 1,9 million with 3,1 million loans.
In Turku City Library basement, there has reportedly been paranormal activity in the form of ghost of the former librarian.
