Tumsa Nahin Dekha - The Love Story is a Bollywood Romance film directed by Anurag Basu, while produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film stars Emraan Hashmi and Diya Mirza in lead roles as Anupam Kher, Sharat Saxena and Surekha Sikri in supporting roles. It was released on 24 September 2004. It was declared flop at the box office even though the music/song was excellent.
Synopsis
The film starts with Daksh Mittal (Emraan Hashmi), a charming and continually drunk millionaire. One day, he runs into a girl, Jiya (Diya Mirza) on the street and falls in love at first sight. Jiya is working as a strip dancer and has a mentally handicapped brother. Daksh and Jiya spend some time with each other and fall in love. Daksh, however, is supposed to marry Anahita Madhwani (Pooja Bharati) in order to inherit a million-dollar trust.
For help, Daksh turns to his butler, John Uncle (Anupam Kher). John Uncle wanted Daksh to end up marrying Jiya. However, John gets very ill and gets admitted to a hospital. The engagement party for Daksh and Anahita is taking place and John Uncle manages to convince Jiya to go to the party.
Daksh and Jiya dance, and meanwhile, John Uncle is dying at the hospital. Daksh decides to honour John Uncle's memory and goes to propose to Jiya – she accepts and after a final clash with the family, Daksh is allowed to marry her and they live happily ever after.

Soundtrack
The soundtrack of the film was composed by Nadeem-Shravan. and lyrics Sameer. The album featured 8 songs with two versions of "Bheed Mein Tanhai Mein". The song "Yeh Dhuan Dhuan Sa" featured Richard Clyderman with the lead actors. The response for the music was excellent at the music platforms in India. Singers like Shaan, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Roop Kumar Rathod & Sonu Nigam have lent their voices for some of the best soundtrack of 2004.

Trivia
- While shooting, director Anurag Basu was diagnosed with blood cancer and was admitted to hospital. Producer Mukesh Bhatt took over for a month.
- Daksh's dance with the bread attached to the spoons is inspired by Charlie Chaplin's "dance" in Gold Rush.
- Remake of Dudley Moore 1981 movie Arthur
- The film, while shooting, was titled to be named Zaroorat - The Hindi Love Story, but later on it got changed to Tumsa Nahin Dekha - A Love Story
- Jiah Khan acted as Jiya but got replaced by Mirza
