Tuen Mun Hospital (Chinese: 屯門醫院) is a public hospital with a 24-hour casualty unit situated in northern Tuen Mun in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Construction began in 1979, and was opened on 8 March 1990. It is managed by the Hospital Authority, and is grouped under the New Territories West Cluster.
During the Manila hostage crisis in August 2010, the Hong Kong casualties who had survived were brought to this hospital to be treated.
History
Tuen Mun Hospital opened on 8 March 1990 and cost HK$1.2 billion.[1]

Services
As of March 2013, the hospital has 1,784 beds and around 5,361 members of staff. For the year ended 31 March 2013, it has treated 156,952 inpatients and day-patients, 657,729 specialist outpatients, and 766,062 general outpatients.[3]
Facilities
The ground floor of the hospital is occupied by the casualty ward, and a day-care centre. The hospital has recently established a trauma unit and a neo-natal intensive care unit.

It is served by Tuen Mun Hospital Stop of the MTR Light Rail, which is inside Zone 3 for single-ride ticket.
