Troilus luridus is a species of shield bug.

Description

Troilus luridus is a large predatory shieldbug in the family Pentatomidae. It measures about 10 to 12 mm in length.[2]

The shieldbug has an orange band on the penultimate antennal segment. The legs are brown and the scutellum lacks an orange tip.[3]

It is one of four carnivorous species found in Britain of the predominantly phytophagous insect family Pentatomidae.[4]
