Trinity Lutheran School is a private Lutheran school in Orlando, Florida. The school has served the church and community in downtown Orlando since 1953. Trinity Lutheran School is a fully accredited school as recognized by the National Lutheran School Accreditation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.[1]

Trinity prepares students in Pre-K (for those who are 4 years old by September 1) through 8th grade to be successful in high school and beyond. The Trinity Child Development Center serves children 6 weeks old through four years old.

Curriculum

The school has an accelerated reader program that tests students' reading comprehension.

The school library is open to students before, during, after school hours.

Athletics

Trinity Lutheran School offers many different types of sports programs, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, and track. The school has an indoor gymnasium with a regulation-sized basketball court with bleachers. The school has a soccer field and a playground. The school participates in sports tournaments, both home and away, throughout the school year.

Music

Students can participate in a number of extracurricular activities, including band, hand bells, and chorus. The school hosts several musical performances throughout the year, and has, in the past regularly partnered with City of Orlando Mayor's Office to produce the Christmas show "The Gift" at Lake Eola Park

Special events

The school library hosts the Scholastic Book Fair once a year.

The school sponsors yearly field trips for the 7th and 8th grade classes. Destinations have included Washington, DC and Colonial Williamsburg.
