"Trini Dem Girls" is a song recorded by Trinidadian-born American rapper Nicki Minaj for her third studio album The Pinkprint (2014). It features guest vocals by American rapper LunchMoney Lewis. The song was written by Minaj, Jeremy Coleman, Jacob Kasher, Lewis, Theron Thomas of Rock City, Alexander Castillo Vasquez, Cirkut and Dr. Luke, and produced by latter with Cirkut, A.C and JMIKE.[1] The song is an electro-dancehall track, about Minaj's birth country Trinidad and Tobago.[2]

It was sent to rhythmic contemporary radio in the United States on September 1, 2015, as the album's seventh single.[3][4]

Live performance

Minaj opened the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of "Trini Dem Girls" followed by "The Night Is Still Young" featuring guest Taylor Swift, who then performed "Bad Blood".[5]
