Trichoglottis, abbreviated Trgl in horticultural trade, is a genus of plant in family Orchidaceae. It contains about 60 species found mostly in Southeast Asia (Indochina, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.) with a few species in China, the Indian Subcontinent, and various islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.[2][3][4]

Trichoglottis brachiata Ames

The Bracteate Trichoglottis is an epiphytic species is from the Philippines which grows in warm or hot weather from sea level all the way to an elevation of 300 meters. It can grow from small to large in size and in the spring and summer it usually produces 1-2 fragrant flowers per shoot.
