Trezzano sul Naviglio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 km (6 mi) southwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 18,819 and an area of 10.8 km2 (4.2 sq mi).[1]
Trezzano sul Naviglio borders the following municipalities: Buccinasco, Cusago, Cesano Boscone, Corsico, Gaggiano, Milan, Zibido San Giacomo. It is served by Trezzano sul Naviglio railway station.
Demographic Evolution
The sudden jolt in population during the sixties is due to internal immigration from Southern Italy.
