The Olympic Stadium Adem Jashari (Albanian: Stadiumi Olimpik Adem Jashari) is a multi-use stadium in Mitrovica, Kosovo[a]. It is used mostly for football matches as the home ground of KF Trepça of the Kosovar Superliga. The stadium holds 18,200 people.[1] and is named after Adem Jashari, one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), which fought for the separation of Kosovo from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the 1990s.

On 5 March 2014, it hosted the first FIFA-approved match of the Kosovo national football team, a 0–0 friendly draw with Haiti.[2]

Notes:

a.   ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. The two governments began to normalise relations in 2013, as part of the Brussels Agreement. Kosovo has been recognised as an independent state by 108 out of 193 United Nations member states.
