Trackbuster is an online service used to identify and remove email trackers.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Email tracking is mainly used by marketers to monitor the delivery of emails, though new tools now allow individuals to track emails easily.[9] In addition to revealing whether an email has been opened or not, email trackers can also give information on one’s software preferences or geographic position (through IP geolocation). Trackbuster helps email users to get rid of these trackers, detecting and disabling tracking images and tracked links.
Upon its launch, Trackbuster received appraisal from well-known figures in the tech world, including Robert Scoble,[10] Om Malik[11] and Chris Messina.
Trackbuster is currently compatible with Gmail and Google Apps.
