The Town of Narrogin is a local government area of Western Australia for the town of Narrogin in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 192 kilometres (119 mi) south-east of the capital, Perth along Great Southern Highway. The Shire has a population of 4,238 (ABS 2006).

History
On 13 April 1906, the Municipality of Narrogin came into being. On 1 July 1961, it became a Town under the Local Government Act 1960.
Town Council
The town has 8 councillors and no wards. The Mayor is local businessman Leigh Ballard, the Deputy Mayor is retired criminal lawyer Arthur Paternoster. The remaining councillors are Jan McKenzie,Michael Kain,David Russell JP, Colin Ward Clive Bartron and Paul Schutz.
