List of countries by total renewable water resources
This is a list of countries by total renewable water resources mostly based on The World Factbook.[1] This entry provides the long-term average water availability for a country in cubic kilometers of precipitation, recharged ground water, and surface inflows from surrounding countries. [2]
According to the Index Mundi’s data Greenland ranked number 1 and Iceland ranked number 2 in renewable internal freshwater resources per capita with 10,662,190.00 cubic meters and 532,892.00 cubic meters, respectively. Nepal ranked 65th country with 6,501.39 cubic meters. Renewable internal freshwater resources flows refer to internal renewable resources (internal river flows and groundwater from rainfall) in the country. Renewable internal freshwater resources per capita are calculated using the World Bank's population estimates. [3]
