The Torotoroka scops owl (Otus madagascariensis) is a species of owl in the family Strigidae. It is endemic to Madagascar, and was previously its own species. O. madagascariensis and O. rutilus have now been re-lumped following Fuchs et al. (2007).[1]
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests.
