Tony Gray (radio)

Tony Gray is a Chicago radio programming consultant. He is president of Gray Communications.[1]

Anthony Brent Gray (born May 1, 1958) is an American radio broadcast executive best known as one of the country's leading programmers. He is President of Gray Communications Inc., based in Chicago and established in 1990. He previously served as Operations Manager in New York at WRKS (98.7 FM) and as programming executive in Philadelphia, Detroit, St. Louis and New Orleans.

On April 21, 2010, Gray was named one of Radio Ink magazine's "Most Influential African Americans in Radio." [2] The annual list is compiled by broadcasting trade publication Radio Ink, which accepts nominations for outstanding contributions to the promotion of the African American radio industry. This marks the second consecutive year Mr. Gray has been recognized by Radio Ink.

Gray Communications is a programming consultancy that serves urban contemporary, Urban AC and hip hop stations in the United States.
