Tom Barras (born 21 June 1978 in Keighley, West Yorkshire[2][3]) is an English professional road racing cyclist. He has taken more than 100 race wins during his career.[1] Barras is also the son of former professional racing cyclist, Sid Barras. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000, Tom started his professional career in Belgium, before returning to the UK in 2006. He combined his racing with work as a web designer from 2007.[1] Barras was ranked 13th in the UK national road rankings at the end of the 2007 racing season. In December 2014 he was announced as a member of the NFTO squad for 2015.[4][5]
