Tim Winitana (born 29 April 1987, Wellington, New Zealand) is a rugby league player for the Macquarie Scorpions in the Newcastle Rugby League competition. He previously played in the National Rugby League for the Canterbury Bulldogs. His position of choice is in the centres.
Career
Winitana made his debut for the Bulldogs against the Brisbane Broncos in Round 14 of the NRL season on 15 June 2007 after first choice centre Willie Tonga was not selected for disciplinary reasons.
In 2011, Winitana signed with the Penrith Panthers but couldn't crack the first-grade team.
He moved to Newcastle, New South Wales to play for the Macquarie Scorpions in 2012.[1]
