Tim O'Kelly
Tim O'Kelly (March 12, 1941 - January 4, 1990) is an American actor best known for playing the sniper "Bobby Thompson" in the Peter Bogdanovich cult film Targets. He was cast because of his boy-next-door looks and his similarity in appearance to killer Charles Whitman, on whom the character was loosely based. Tim also played the original "Dt. Danny 'Dano' Williams" in the pilot episode of Hawaii Five-O, but was later replaced by James MacArthur.[1] After 1973, O'Kelly did no film or television work. He died on January 4, 1990 in Los Angeles.
