Thomas Jaeschke (born September 4, 1993) is an American volleyball player, a member of the United States men's national volleyball team and Polish club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
Personal life
He is son of John and Danielle Jaeschke. Thomas has a twin sister named Jaime and a brother named Joseph (1990). Jaeschke was studying finance at Loyola University Chicago, but he interrupted his studies to sign a professional contract with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
Career
Clubs
He played for Loyola Ramblers. In 2015 he was named AVCA Player of the Year.[1] He won the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Men's DI-II National Championships. In 2015 he interrupted his studies to sign first professional contract in his career with Polish club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, which was Polish Champion in previous season.[2] He signed three-year contract.
National team
Jaeschke made his debut in national team during 2015 NORCECA Champions Cup. He gained with his national team promotion to 2015 FIVB World Cup.[3] He was appointed to U.S. national team by John Speraw on 2015 FIVB World League. On July 19, 2015 he achieved bronze medal.[4] Despite promotion to 2015 FIVB World Cup Jaeschke did not go because of injury and missed winning gold.[5]
