Thomas Gaetano LoMedico (1904–1985) was an American sculptor and a designer of commemorative medals.[3]
LoMedico studied at the Beaux Arts Institute of Design in New York City and stayed in the city most of his life. He won a $8000 prize from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for a sculpture shown at the New York World's Fair. LoMedico won the Saltus Award in 1956. He also taught at the National Academy of Design.[4]
Collections of LoMedico's papers are kept by the Archives of American Art[3] and at the Syracuse University Library.[4]
