Thomas Bowles Shannon
Thomas Bowles Shannon (September 21, 1827 – February 21, 1897) served as member of the California State Assembly, and the California Senate. He would later become elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for California as a Republican. He returned to the state assembly and became the Speaker of the Assembly.
