The World's Famous Supreme Team was an American hip hop group founded in the 1980s. Members included Sedivine the Mastermind and Just Allah the Superstar (today: JazzyJust the Superstar), among others. The group joined forces with Malcolm McLaren on a number of early hit hip hop records, including his 1983 album Duck Rock.[1] Among the group's most well-known works were the singles "Buffalo Gals" (Charisma Records (UK) Island Records (US)) and "Hey DJ" (Island Records). The crew also had a radio show starting in 1979 on WHBI-FM 105.9 out of Newark, NJ.[2] "Hey, DJ" was later sampled on the Mariah Carey song "Honey." [3] The group reunited with McLaren in 1990 and recorded the album Round the Outside! Round the Outside! which was released on Virgin Records.
