The Works is an interactive museum in Bloomington, Minnesota whose website states that it makes learning about science and engineering interesting, understandable and fun.[1]
History
The Works first opened to the public in 1995 but the idea for the organization was originally devised by founder, and recent president, Rebecca Schatz in the 1980’s. The organization debuted as an exhibit in the Bell Museum and eventually took residence in donated space in shopping malls and in 2002, relocated to the Edina Community Center.[2]The Works’ relocated to central Bloomington in November 2011.
