The Walking Dead: Michonne is an upcoming episodic interactive drama graphic adventure based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series by Telltale Games.[1] It will explain what happened to Michonne when she left the group led by Rick Grimes between issues 126 and 139 of The Walking Dead comic.[2] Samira Wiley will voice Michonne in the game.[3]
Plot
The series will mostly focus on the Michonne's untold story on what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of Rick Grimes' trusted group and what brought her back.[4] It will serve as a tie-in between the existing The Walking Dead seasons developed by Telltale Games.
Episodes
The game was separated into three episodes, released in one-month intervals.[5]

Development
In June 2015, Telltale announced a three-episode series The Walking Dead: Michonne. The mini-series was originally scheduled to be released as downloadable content for Season 2.[7] However in December 2015 Telltale announced that the game would be released in February 2016 as a standalone title that would not require any previous game in the series to play.[8][9]
