The Very Best of Asia: Heat of the Moment (1982–1990) is a collection for casual fans of hits like "Heat of the Moment", "Only Time Will Tell", "Don't Cry", and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes". It features three rare B-sides ("Daylight", "Lying to Yourself", and "Ride Easy") as well as detailed liner notes. The tracks "Sole Survivor" and "Here Comes the Feeling" are edited single versions. Krokus's Mandy Meyer replaced Howe on the 1985 album Astra, which is represented here by the rocker "Go", "Voice of America" and "Too Late". The Then & Now cut "Days Like These" features Toto guitarist Steve Lukather.[2]
