The Tide is a band from Los Angeles, California formed in 2015. They are currently signed to The Vamps' new record label under EMI Universal. They were the supporting act for The Vamps World Tour 2015 along with other artists such as Before You Exit (USA leg), Luke Friend (UK leg), HomeTown (UK leg) and Union J (UK leg). The four of them got together when The Vamps announced a secret project in late December 2014 and held auditions for a USA guitarist and drummer aged 18 - 20 to form a band and that more would be announced in early 2015. The band started on February 26, 2015, consisting of 4 members: Austin Corini (lead vocals and guitar), Drew Dirksen (lead guitar and backing vocals), Levi Jones (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Nate Parker (drums and backing vocals).[1]

In February 2015, The Vamps announced that they would be taking them on tour for The Vamps World Tour 2015. The Tide have so far played shows across Europe in various countries such as Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Ireland for The Vamps UK Arena Tour. The first show of the tour kicked off in Glasgow, Scotland and the last show was in Madrid, Spain. [2][3]

Songs and discography

The band first started posting covers of popular songs on YouTube, such as "She Looks So Perfect" by 5 Seconds of Summer and "Steal My Girl" by One Direction. They later started performing original songs on The Vamps World Tour 2015, such as "Falling in Love Tonight", "What You Give" and "The Rest of Us". None of these songs have been released as official songs yet, but they have remixed "Falling in Love Tonight" into an acoustic version, which was posted on YouTube. They have continued to post covers of popular songs, including "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk the Moon, "Stitches" by Shawn Mendes and "What Do You Mean" by Justin Bieber.
