The Sunshine Brothers
The Sunshine Brothers are a live organic dub reggae band from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in 2005 the Sunshine Brothers consist of members of known Perth bands such as Thrombus, Downsyde, Valvolux, Fdel, Rawbone, Flux Capacitor. They have toured Australia regularly as well as the UK, Spain, The United States and New Zealand.Also international supports such as Sharon Jones and the Dapkings, Fat Freddy's Drop, Charles Bradley, The Cat Empire, Lily Allen. The Sunshine Brothers have released three albums: Rebel Yellow (2005), Greenpoint (2008), and Red Alert (2010). Greenpoint was recorded at the soul music label and studio Daptone in Brooklyn, New York with Gabe Roth.Red Alert was recorded in Spain at the studio of Depedro.
The Sunshine Brothers are currently writing their fourth album, which is due for release in late 2014.
