The Resurrection of Mars is an audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. This audio drama was produced by Big Finish Productions.

This the last part of a two-part story, the first part being Deimos.

Plot

The Ice Warriors on Deimos are willing to kill every human colony on Mars in order to reclaim it. And someone is threatening to disrupt the Web of Time for what they believe to be the greater good. The Doctor has to make a difficult choice. And his companion does not agree with him.

The Resurrection of Mars was broadcast on digital radio station BBC Radio 4 Extra on 14 Jan 2013 as a single hour-long episode.[1][2]

Cover image

The preview cover image differs from the cover included with the physical disc; the true cover reduces the size of the Ice Warrior image to focus on Lucie and the Monk, and it does give cover credit to their portrayers, Smith and Garden.
