The Raviz Kollam (Malayalam: ദി റാവിസ് കൊല്ലം) or The Raviz Ashtamudi is a five-star hotel on the banks of the Ashtamudi lake in Kollam city, India. The hotel is owned by Kollam based businessman Dr. B. Ravi Pillai's Raviz Hotels & Resorts company. Designed by Kollam based architect Eugene Pandala in 2009, the construction of the hotel started in the 1990s. The Raviz is designed with a blend of colonial and traditional Travancore architecture, having 90 rooms, suite rooms and cottages, villas with private swimming pools, Ayurvedic Spa and restaurants.[2] Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and Malayalam actor Mohan Lal inaugurated the hotel on 19 August 2011.[3]

The Hotel

The Raviz Ashtamudi is a deluxe luxury hotel. It is one of the two five-star hotels in Kollam city. The hotel includes 90 rooms, 9 suites, cottages, villas with swimming pools, bars, 4 restaurants including floating restaurant and Greek restaurant.[4][5][6][7]
