The Mastersons, husband and wife duo Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore, is an American alt-country band from Brooklyn, New York.
History
Masterson and Whitmore, both Texas born, enjoyed successful careers as supporting musicians before marrying each other in 2009.[1] The couple played on each other's solo records in 2009 and joined Steve Earle's touring band, The Dukes and Duchesses, in 2011.[2] In 2012, the duo christened themselves "The Mastersons" and recorded their debut record, Birds Fly South.
