The Magnetic North are a British band, formed in London by multi-instrumentalist Simon Tong (formerly of The Verve, Blur and The Good, the Bad & the Queen), Orcadian musician Gawain Erland Cooper and singer, composer and orchestral arranger Hannah Peel.[1] They released their debut album, Orkney: Symphony of the Magnetic North on May 6, 2012.[1][2]
