Jago & Litefoot is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It stars Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxter as Henry Gordon Jago and George Litefoot, their characters from the 1977 TV story The Talons of Weng-Chiang.[1] The Mahogany Murderers was an entry in the Companion Chronicles range of audio plays and acted as a pilot for this series.[2] Justin Richards is the script editor.

So far eight series have been released with the eighth and most recent series released in October 2014. A ninth has also been recorded. Each series consists of a box set of 4 hour-long plays.[2] Between the fourth and fifth series the duo travelled with Colin Baker as the 6th incarnation of The Doctor for a pair of adventures, Voyage to Venus and Voyage to the New World, as single-disc releases.

Series 1 comprised 4 episodes and was released in 2010. It mainly featured the mysterious figure named Dr. Tulp, who was previously mentioned in The Mahogany Murderers. It also featured return of Sgt Quick (previously PC Quick), who appeared in The Talons of Weng-Chiang.

Series 3

Series 3 was released in June 2011. The season was described by director Lisa Bowerman as resembling a Victorian version of Sapphire and Steel.[3] Louise Jameson reprised her role as Leela. It mainly featured temporal breaks caused by Professor Payne, which are causing serious troubles on all over the country.

Jago, Litefoot & Strax

This was a one off special featuring the revived series character, Strax, the sontaran. It features the usual cast and Dan Starkey as Strax, reprising his role from the TV series. It follows series 10 and was released in November 2015. Plot Summary: Strax, the Sontaran butler to Victorian investigator Vastra and her wife Jenny, suffers a disorienting attack and mistakes Jago & Litefoot for Jenny and Vastra and moves into Litefoot’s home. Together, they are on the trail of a creature that is stealing brains, which may or may not be linked to a haunted house in London...
