The International School (TIS) is a private, co-educational day school located in the Clifton locality of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
TIS was established in 1996 by Taymur Mirza, being the first International Baccalaureate (IB) affiliated educational institution to open in Pakistan.
Catering to students from pre-school to high school level, it offers the IB PYP, MYP and DP.
The school has an annual sports day, with students divided into three teams: Africa, Asia and Europe, with yellow, dark green and dark blue being the colours of the teams respectively.
The school is also certified with Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel, and is part of the Middle East International Baccalaureate Association (MEIBA.)[1][2]
The current PYP, MYP and DP coordinators are Bisma Harris, Samia Majid and Tahir Manto, with Samia Majid serving the additional role of principal of the school.
The motto of the school is "Education is the silent force."
Alumni of the school are called TISians.
