The Headies 2015 was the 10th edition of The Headies Awards held on January 1, 2016 at Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.[1] Themed "Flip The Script", the event was hosted by Bovi and Kaffy. Previously scheduled to be held on December 30, 2015, the organizers of the event postponed it to January 1, 2016 without citing any reasons.[2] Timi Dakolo won three category awards, while Olamide received the most nominations with eight. Wizkid was nominated seven times across the twenty-one award categories.[3] The Headies honoured 2face Idibia with the "Hall of Fame" award, while the "Special Recognition Award" was awarded to Don Jazzy. Reekado Banks won the Next Rated award to the criticism of music critics who challenged the "fairness of the award process".[4][5]
