The Early November / I Am the Avalanche is a split record between Hammonton, New Jersey's The Early November and Long Island, New York's I Am the Avalanche. It was released on July 26, 2005 on the both bands' record label Drive-Thru Records. This split CD marks the debut release of I Am the Avalanche, while it is the fourth release for The Early November.
The Early November's part of the disc contains a previously unreleased demo version of a song off their upcoming 2006 album, as well as a live recording of the inaugural track off both their 2003 The Acoustic EP and their 2003 full-length The Room's Too Cold. The track was recorded on December 18, 2004 at TLA in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is also available on Drive-Thru Records/Rushmore Records DVD Volume 3 (2005). I Am the Avalanche's tracks are both demos for their 2005 album I Am the Avalanche.
