Plot

Phil helps Haley convince Claire to allow Dylan to move in temporarily, but soon changes his mind after seeing how intimate living together means. Mitch takes on a much needed consulting job for Jay's biggest rival — Closets, Closets, Closets, Closets! Gloria and Cameron disagree on how to handle Manny's girl problem at school.[1]

In its original U.S. broadcast, "The Closet Case" was watched by 7.99 million people;[3] down by 0.73 from the previous episode.[4]

Kyle Fowle of The A.V. Club gave episode a C+, saying "The Closet Case” boasts a lot of the shows worst tendencies, from ridiculous situations to a total lack of thematic cohesion."[5]
