State Highway 114 Business L (Bus. SH 114), also known as Texan Trail, is a major road in Central Grapevine, Texas. This road connects to many corporate buildings and car dealerships on the stretch from Dallas Road to the TX 114/ TX 121 corridor.

Route description

The road's northern terminus is at Northwest Highway, where the road before, named Ruth Wall Road, is a connection to Gaylord Texan, Texan Trail travels southbound past apartments and development, and a few corporate buildings before intersecting with Dallas Road (another arterial road of Grapevine). The road then travels farther southward, to meet with two car dealerships and intersecting with access roads of the freeway SH 114/SH 121 corridor. The road continues on for about a half-mile before terminating on DFW Airport property just after Airfield Drive at Founder's Plaza. This road is also the detour route of Spur 103 (Main Street) during festivals (and, occasionally, construction). At the intersection with Dallas Road is where the planned FWTA/DART DFW North TexRail Line/Orange Line shared station is to be.[2]

History

Bus. SH 114 was formerly Loop 382 as well as a previous routing SH 114 itself (before the freeway SH 114 was created). This route was designated in 1991, also when Loop 382's designation ended.[3]
